I bought new flip flops to celebrate the rains and the football fever [which is coming to an end, but still, its the spirit]

Just that they are mighty uncomfortable and awfully bright, but when I wore them at the store, they looked so cool. All colourful under my faded jeans and they seemed perfect to wear in the rains also. And ok, its the aussie team colour also :)

When I got home
mom:- you shopped again !?
me:- I only bought chappals ! Sheesh, I am allowed an odd pair of chappal here and there, right !?
me:- see, how cool are they !?
sis:- [wierd look] you bought these !?!?
me:- err, yes - how cool are they !? they are green and yellow striped.
sis:- gee, would I have guessed they were yellow and green in colour
me:- whatever
sis:- well I saw em too.
me:- oh, when ?!
sis:- when I had gone grocery shopping the other day !
me:- wow, you went grocery shopping in adidas !?
sis:- Big-Bazaar u freak
[ imagine my jaw dropping, touching the floor, doing a big bounce and then hitting the roof]
me:- THESE WERE IN BIG-BAZAAR ?!
sis:- yesss, how much did you get em for ?! 50 bucks !?
me:- they were for 50 bucks !?
sis:- pray, how much did you waste
me:- errr .. 200 !!
sis:-show me the bill
me:- ok ok ! 500 !!
sis:- [suspicious look]
me:- ok fine ! 700 bucks !!!



and they're uncomfortable !!! and they r a hideous yellow and green in colour

but they look good when I wear them in the bathroom. all bright and colourful against a black background !!!

they really do !!!!

now I am going - to watch the match someplace.
No I dun follow football.
But I wouldnt waste a perfectly good reason to drink !!!
